Kolhapuri Tambada-Pandhara Rassa
This spicy non-vegetarian dish originated in Kolhapur, Western Maharashtra. There are two types of rassas, or curries which are served with this dish. Tambada Rassa, has rich flavours and Pandhara rassa is slightly spicy and has tangy flavour . This dish is served up everywhere in Maharashtra but if you want to experience the true authentic taste, you need to visit Kolhapur city.
Thalipeeth can be eaten as a solid breakfast, or as an evening snack. it is made of three types of flours and is nutritious and tasty. This is one of the few traditional dishes that can be served in 10 minutes or less. It is called healthiest “fast food”.
This is a popular Maharashtrian dish. It is served at almost every celebration. Sheera is made with loads of dried fruits and is a most-memorable sweet dish.
This dish is ideal for the people on fast. Beside that, it is served with cucumbers during monsoon season.
